I’m continuing my seven days of favorite saying on Tea-Towels. These designs are created to be sewn out on the new Janome 500E and any other machine whose embroidery field is at least 7.8″ x 9″. I’ll have some smaller designs in the next few days, but right now, I’m enjoying the large space offered by the Janome 500E and 15000.
This Bible verse comes from my grandmother’s favorite chapter of the Bible, John 14. She had the complete chapter memorized, and loved reciting it. She was a character 🙂 She taught Sunday School until she was 87 years old. When her eyes got too bad to read her Bible in front of her class of ladies without use of her magnifying glass, she refused to admit she couldn’t see. Instead, she spent the week before her lesson memorizing whatever chapters or verses she would be teaching on. She would then pretend to read in front of her ladies when in fact, she had memorized the verses. She said she didn’t want to distract them with her magnifying glass 🙂
Anyway, this is a verse from near the end of the chapter. It gives me peace. I hope it does the same for you!
