Free Embroidery Download: Christmas Crafts 2015 Day 3

When I was in middle school, we all had a poster of the “Desiderata” on our walls. The poem, written in 1927 was recited by Joan Crawford in a 1970 interview with David Frost and become immensely popular for  several decades after.
Many years after middle school, I was surprised to discover that many of my favorite lines from the Desiderata actually came from the book of Romans, specifically Chapter 12.
“Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited. Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you,  live at peace with everyone.” Romans 12:16-18

Today’s free download comes from this passage. I’ve digitized it for 5×7 embroidery fields. I hope you enjoy!
