Today’s final piece of the Frozen ensemble is a simple to make little girl’s skirt. You can use a pattern, or you can create your own by cutting your material 1 1/2 x hip width and length from waist to hemline plus 3″ for elastic and hem.
(Instructions for the doll dress is day 27 and the reverse appliqué shirt day 26)
Materials
1 yard material (I used the flat sheet of the frozen sheet set)
1 yard trim
1 yard 1″ elastic
Pattern for skirt, or use the measurements above
Sew
Straight stitch or serge front to back right sides together
Fold down 1/4″ from top and bottom of skirt and narrow hem.
For elastic casing: turn under top of skirt 1 1/4″
Straight stitch leaving an opening for elastic
Hem skirt
Sew trim to bottom of skirt
Make your little girl happy!
