This in-the-hoop stocking is perfect for tiny gifts, including cash. Make it in less than ten minutes, no sewing involved!
Supplies:
Free embroidery download for In-the-hoop lined mini stocking
Janome 12000 or 15000 with Grand Hoop
13″ x 8″ outer fabric
13″ x 8″ lining fabric
12″ trim
Prepare:
Turn 1/4″ hem down 13″ side of outer and lining fabric. Press
Hoop tear away stabilizer in Grand hoop
Place hoop on machine
Load in-the-hoop lined mini stocking embroidery file
Embroider:
Sew Color 1, placement line for lining and outer fabric
Place fabric wrong side down with pressed hem on line.
Sew Color 2, hemline for stocking
Sew Color 3, placement line for trim
Place trim on placement line and sew color 4, sew down line for trim
Starting at the right side, carefully fold the long sides of material in half and sew color 5, the stocking outline
Remove stocking from hoop
Trim and clip curves
Turn right side out
fold lining into outer stocking
hand sew hold used for turning
fold over top
