Personalized In-the-hoop Polka Dot Christmas Tree Ornaments
I love these ornaments, inspired by wooden ornaments I saw at a craft show. The file you will download is just for the ornament; you will add names in your edit screen. I embroidered these quick and easy ornaments on my embroidery machine
Materials and supplies
9” x 7” red fabric
9” x 7” polar fleece lining
9”x 7” green backing fabric
Green and white embroidery thread
Matching green ribbon
embroidery file ( blank polka dot ornament)
Embroider:
Bring polkadot file into your editing screen
Add name of your choice in the space provided in the center of the ornament
Hoop polar fleece and red fabric
Stitch color 1, the polka dots
Skip forward
To color 3, the name you inserted in the editing mode. Stitch color 3, the name.
Backing Fabric
Lay backing fabric right sides together over ornament. Stitch color two, the stitch down
Remove from hoop
Trim excess fabric
Turn ornament right side out
Topstich edge of ornament to add ribbon and close turning hole
Your ornament is complete! Happy Embroidering!
